What does Bergamot Essential oil without Furocoumarins help with?

Bergamot ( Citrus bergamia ) is a citrus fruit known for its fresh, slightly sweet and floral aroma.

Furocoumarin-free ( FCF ) Bergamot Essential oil is extracted by cold pressing the rind of the fruit, removing phototoxic compounds. This makes it safer for use on the skin, including in daily face and body products.

Bergamot Essential oil free of furocoumarins ( FCF ) can be used as a:

• Additive to day cream - Suitable for skin with uneven complexion, reduces pigmentation and leaves a feeling of purity and lightness;
• Massage oil for problem skin - Soothes irritations, has an antiseptic effect and helps the skin with mild inflammation;
• Refreshing facial spray - Provides an instant feeling of cleanliness and freshness during the day, especially when oily or steamy;
• Additive to foot cream - Reduces sweating and keeps the skin fresh all day long;
• Face or body lotion - Refreshes the skin, gives an even complexion and supports its natural recovery.

How do i use Bergamot Essential oil without Furocoumarins?

1. As an additive to a day cream

1. Take a small amount of your day cream in the palm of your hand;
2. Add 1 drop of Bergamot FCF essential oil and mix well with your finger;
3. Apply evenly to a cleansed face, avoiding the eye area.

2. As a massage oil for problem skin

1. Mix 10 ml of carrier oil ( jojoba, sweet almond or apricot ) with 2 drops of bergamot FCF oil;
2. Warm the mixture slightly between your palms;
3. Massage onto areas of irritation or inflammation, 1-2 times daily.

3. As a refreshing facial spray

1. In 50 ml of floral water ( e.g. mint or lavender ) add 3 drops of bergamot FCF oil;
2. Shake well before use;
3. Spray onto your face from a distance of 20-30 cm.

4. As an additive to foot cream

1. Mix 1 drop of Bergamot FCF oil with the usual amount of cream you use;
2. Apply to clean and dry feet in the evening before going to bed;
3. Massage until completely absorbed.

5. As a face or body lotion

1. In 100 ml of unscented lotion, add 10 drops of Bergamot FCF;
2. Shake well to mix evenly;
3. Apply daily to skin with uneven complexion or loss of radiance.
