What does Carrot Seed Essential oil help with?

Carrot ( Daucus carota ) is a biennial plant with finely cut leaves and a well-known orange-colored root.

Besides being a nutritional source, carrot seeds are used to extract essential oil rich in carotol - a compound with rejuvenating and restorative properties for the skin.

Carrot Seed Essential oil can be used as a:

• Nourishing serum for dry and mature skin - Stimulates skin cell regeneration and smoothes fine lines;
• Oil for scars and uneven skin tone - Helps lighten pigment spots and promotes skin regeneration;
• Strengthening oil for the hair and scalp - Improves microcirculation, nourishes the roots and can promote hair growth;
• Soothing oil for irritations or eczema - Has an anti-inflammatory effect and soothes irritated skin.

How do i use Carrot Seed Essential oil?

1. As a nourishing serum for dry and mature skin

1. Mix 2 drops of carrot essential oil with 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil;
2. Cleanse your face;
3. Apply the mixture with light massage movements in the evening before bedtime.

2. As an oil for scars and uneven skin tone

1. Add 3 drops of carrot essential oil to 10 ml of rosehip oil;
2. Shake the mixture well;
3. Apply topically to affected areas 1-2 times daily.

3. As a strengthening oil for the hair and scalp

1. Mix 4 drops of carrot essential oil with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil;
2. Apply to your scalp and massage for 2-3 minutes;
3. Leave it on for 30 minutes, then wash with shampoo.

4. As a soothing oil for irritations or eczema

1. Mix 2 drops of carrot essential oil with 1 tsp calendula oil;
2. Apply gently to the irritated area;
3. Repeat 2 times daily until improvement.

Precautions:

1. Use one drop of the essential oil and rub it into the inner part of your forearm;
2. Wait 15 minutes;
3. If redness, skin irritation, or any allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately.
