What does Eucalyptus Citriodora Essential oil help with?
Eucalyptus citriodora is a tall tree with delicate, oblong leaves and a fresh lemon scent. Its leaves contain natural compounds with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which are extracted in the form of essential oil. It is mainly used for skin and scalp care.
Eucalyptus Citriodora Essential oil can be used as a:
- Toner for oily and acne-prone skin - Regulates oiliness and helps cleanse pores;
- Additive to masks for skin with inflammation and pimples - The anti-inflammatory effect soothes redness and promotes regeneration;
- Scalp lotion for dandruff and itching - Helps balance the microflora of the scalp and reduces irritation;
- Mouthwash for sore gums - Antiseptic properties help with oral hygiene and reduce inflammation;
- Refreshing foot spray - Deodorizes and has antibacterial effects when sweating.
How do i use Eucalyptus Citriodora Essential oil?
1. As a toner for oily and acne-prone skin
- In 50 ml of floral water ( e.g. lavender or rose ) add 2 drops of essential oil;
- Shake well before use;
- Apply with a cotton pad to cleansed skin in the morning and evening.
2. As an additive to masks for skin with inflammation and pimples
- Mix 1 tsp. humus with a little water until a thick paste is obtained;
- Add 1 drop of essential oil and mix well;
- Apply to your face for 10 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.
3. As a scalp lotion for dandruff and itching
- In 30 ml of base oil ( jojoba or almond ) add 4 drops of essential oil;
- Gently massage your scalp with the resulting mixture;
- Leave it on for 30 minutes, then wash with a gentle shampoo.
4. As a mouthwash for inflamed gums
- In 100 ml of warm water, dissolve 1 tsp. honey;
- Add 1 drop of essential oil and mix well;
- Use for gargling 1-2 times a day, without swallowing.
5. As a refreshing foot spray
- Mix 100 ml of water with 10 drops of essential oil and 1 tsp. alcohol ( for better dissolution );
- Pour into a spray bottle and shake;
- Spray onto clean, dry feet in the morning and evening.
