What does Peppermint Essential oil help with?

Peppermint ( Mentha piperita ) is a highly aromatic plant known for its cooling and soothing properties. In folk cosmetics, mint is highly valued for its ability to balance, refresh and tone.
Peppermint Essential oil is extracted from the leaves of the plant and can be used as a:
- Refreshing toner for oily and combination skin - Cleanses pores, regulates sebum and reduces shine during the day;
- Soothing oil after shaving or epilation - Reduces redness and burning sensation, cools the skin;
- Scalp oil for itching and oiliness - Balances the scalp, stimulates microcirculation and gives freshness;
- Compresses for tired or puffy eyes - Cools, tones and reduces puffiness and the feeling of fatigue.
How do i use Peppermint Essential oil?
1. As a refreshing toner for oily and combination skin

- In 1 tbsp. rose or lavender water, add 1 drop of peppermint essential oil;
- Stir the mixture well before use;
- Apply with a cotton pad or fingertips to a cleansed face, avoiding the eye area;
- Allow it to absorb completely. Do not rinse.
2. As a soothing oil after shaving or hair removal

- Dilute 1-2 drops of peppermint essential oil in 1 tsp. carrier oil ( e.g. almond, jojoba or coconut );
- Apply the mixture to clean and dry skin in the treated area;
- Let it dry naturally;
- Massage gently until completely absorbed;
- Use 1-2 times daily in the first days after epilation or shaving.
3. As a scalp oil for itching and oiliness

- In 1 tbsp. base oil ( e.g. jojoba, argan or castor oil ) add 2-3 drops of peppermint essential oil;
- Mix well and apply the mixture directly to the roots of dry or slightly damp hair;
- Massage your scalp with your fingers for 5-10 minutes;
- Leave it on for 30-60 minutes ( maybe longer if needed ), then wash with shampoo;
- Repeat 1-2 times a week to maintain a fresh and balanced scalp.
4. As compresses for tired or puffy eyes

- In 100 ml of cold floral water ( e.g. chamomile, rose or lavender ) add 1 drop of peppermint essential oil;
- Shake well to mix evenly;
- Soak two cotton pads with the mixture;
- Place the pads on closed eyelids for 5-10 minutes.
